Useful to know: Different types of LED Strings
The LED string is a high-tech electric string, the most popular light string used for decoration.
To the distinctive features of the LED light strings belong: low energy consumption, great working efficiency, high brightness, large variety of the colors, light dynamics. LED string lights are divided according to the length, total quantity of LEDs and configuration (usually it includes the string and the controller). The most popular type of these LED strings is electrical Street LED light strings
The use of LEDs of different colors gives the LED light strings some important advantages over the traditional lamps: low energy consumption in combination with great brightness, overall work time that is up to 100 thousand hours. The LEDs radiate full colored light; six main colors are available, including the pink color. The LED strings are released in different length, with different number of light emitting diodes and water resistance level (the outside or inside LED light strings). According to the presence or the absence of the LED dynamics the LED strings are divided into two categories – Fixing or Chasing. The term “Fixing” is used in relevance to LED strings, in which the lamps shine incessantly. The Chasing LED strings are completed by the multi-program controller, so that one can get various LED dynamics.
Today the outdoor LED light strings achieve the largest popularity, as they can be used inside the house as well. From the list of outside LED light strings people usually select 10m light strings, with 100 light emitting diodes installed. The light emitting diodes in such light strings can be one-colored or multi- colored. The outside LED light string may have continuous shining or create dynamic light effects with the help of the controller. Some outdoor LED light strings are connected directly to the net 220V, others – with the decreasing 220V/24V transformer. The application of low tension guarantees safety of LED light strings, but demands the strings with a larger diameter for the same number of lamps.
