Flexible 5mm LED lights strip produced with flexible and solid material. 18 LEDs are arranged at a regular distance from each other, with a wide illumination angle. Due to the modern material of the bar, they can be bent with a very narrow radius. Additionally, the led strip can be cut into smaller pieces, that can be combined afterwards by means of cable or by soldering. The application of such strips is variable: they can be used for the illumination of street ads, interior decoration: illumination of walls, stages, steps, suspended ceilings; to create contrasts, illuminate glass, use them with big italic letters, or tiny racks.

Interior LED Strips
Production range of LED strips can be classified in several types according to the following features: a) flexible and rigid LED strips; b) placement of light-emitting diodes in the strip; c) moisture protection. There is also long and short LED strips. The LEDs can be placed in the middle of the strip or front side, what determines how LEDs strips will be applied. The first type can hang vertically, while another one can be installed only horizontally. One can find waterproof (airtight) LED strips and LED strips for indoor application, the last ones don’t have any special moisture protection and can be applied only indoors.
Further, we will describe properties of flexible and rigid LED strips for indoor application. Vertical flexible LED strips are made of flexible and strong material with sandwich structure, what allows them to be extremely flexible but to “remember” the shape when curved. Minimal radius of the curved LED strip is 20mm. The specified type of LED strips should be used in rooms with low moisture level. Cylindrical light-emitting diodes with 5mm diameter and flat head are used in flexible LED strips. Monochrome flexible LED strips (available colors are red, green, Yellow, blue and white) include 18 LEDs.
As the LED strips are small and flexible, they are used in glowing letters and plates and are widely used for illumination of decorative elements of any shape, to create contours, to light up room in private houses, hotels and commercial buildings. If necessary, they can be cut in small pieces which include only 3 LEDs. A place where the strips can be cut is marked with image "Scissors". The cut modules can be turned on with help of usual cable which should be joined to proper contact or with help of set connection wire, if the cut strip is equipped with proper socket. There are special clips to install and to fix the LED strips. The clips can be fixed to any surface with help of glue, tow-side scotch or self tapping screw.
Recommendations on connecting. When parallel connected, no more than 27 LED strips can be in one line. This amount is maximal. If more LED strips are turned on, they light worse and their lifespan shortens. Distance from the LED head to the illuminated surface should be at least 30mm. Optimal distance from light-emitting diodes to the illuminated surface makes up 50mm. If this simple recommendation is kept, the surface will be illuminated even and with maximal brightness. Length of connection wire to power supply unit shouldn’t be longer than 2m. It’s caused with the fact that the longer a connection wire is, the higher voltage reduction in the circuit is. If cable longer than 2 meter must be used, the user should increase the cable cross-section.
